Character Background and Description Kito was born in Japan to Jaito and Ikumi Nakamura, a wealthy Japanese business power couple whose primary work was done in working both legal and illegal shipments for the Yakuza. Following the Kulva Family's rise to power in Brookhaven, the Yakuza took interest in this new business opportunity and sent Jaito and Ikumi to Brookhaven while they worked. Kito was incredibly upset at being taken away from her friends and being forced to learn to speak english and learn American customs. Her struggles with english in school made her incredibly insecure and shy and she found it difficult to make friends. Kito often found herself alone as both her parents would vanish to do work and leave her alone with a nanny. Despite having incredible wealth and anything she could ask for, she would simply hide in her room and play on her computer because she did not know what else to do.
Back in Japan, her parents had at least made the effort to spend time with her but now that there was so much to be done to work business between the Yakuza and the Kulva, Kito was left by herself. She would often cry at being homesick and her lack of english skills. Her parents paid for the best english tutor but Kito found it incredibly difficult to learn.
